Delete your Meal Ark account
You can permanently delete your Meal Ark account and its data at any time. There are two ways to do it: from inside the app, or by emailing us.
Deletion is immediate and permanent. Your account and meal data cannot be recovered afterwards, so export anything you want to keep first.
Option 1 — delete it yourself in the app
- Open Meal Ark and sign in.
- Go to your Account screen — tap your profile picture, or open Settings and choose Manage account.
- Scroll to Account deletion (shown as Danger Zone on mobile).
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
Your account is deleted straight away, and you are signed out. You can also reach this screen on the web at mealark.com/account.
Option 2 — ask us to delete it
If you can no longer sign in, email support@mealark.com from the address on your Meal Ark account, with the subject Account deletion request. We verify the request and delete the account within 30 days, and usually much sooner.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account removes your sign-in credentials and all data stored against your account:

| Kept only where the law requires | Billing and purchase records that tax and accounting rules oblige us to retain. These are held separately from your account and are not used to identify or contact you. Purchases made through Google Play or the App Store are also recorded by those stores under their own policies. |
Cancel a paid subscription separately. Deleting your Meal Ark account does not cancel billing set up through Google Play or the App Store. Cancel the subscription in that store's subscription settings, otherwise it may keep renewing.
